Landscape Ontario announces Expo 2010
Written by Amanda Ryder
May 13, 2010 - It is time to mark your calendar for Canada’s fall show for the floral and garden industry. Early this year, Landscape Ontario rebranded its 10th annual fall buying show with a vibrant new look. Building on a decade of success, Garden & Floral Expo has launched as EXPO 2010 – Window to the World at the Toronto Congress Centre on October 19th and 20th.

Overview:

Attracting more than 3,000 retail horticultural professionals, EXPO 2010 offers opportunities to explore new and name brand vendors, hundreds of new and green products, recent varieties, hot items and fast selling products. Awe-inspiring displays are presented by many of Ontario’s leading growers. Delegates will even glimpse future retail technologies.

This one-stop sourcing and purchasing event, helps over 250 vendors efficiently and cost effectively market their brands, products and retail solutions to a targeted audience of more than 3,000 independent, chain and mass merchant horticultural retailers from across Canada and around the world.

Optimally timed, the show attracts top horticultural decision makers who come to explore new product offerings, meet vendors, learn about trends, socialize and share ideas with their peers and retail experts.

To maximize time spent on the show floor and to satisfy retailers’ needs for inspiration, a full-day of pre-show professional development has been planned for Monday, October 18th. EXPO 2010 opens to buyers on Tuesday, October 19th and Wednesday, October 20th. A specialty event, the Landscape Designers Breakfast, will take place on Tuesday, October 19th and will be followed on Wednesday, October 20th with an event of interest to Interior Plantscape professionals.
Industry professionals in the lawn, garden, floral and outdoor living sectors will be attracted to the event.
