Your best sign ideas
Written by Amanda Ryder

Sometimes all it takes is a clever sign to make people stop and take a second look at your products. This could apply to your roadside garden centre sign or signage used around the plant benches. We've all driven past a great sign that made us laugh and if you're like me, you turned the car around to see what the business is all about. I can remember in the week leading up to Mother's Day, a local greenhouse posted this: "Mom called. She says she wants flowers." It was simple, easy to read and very effective in getting the message across. And now everytime I drive by that business, I always check the sign to see what's new and unconsciously also read the company's specials and advertising messages.

Unique signage around the garden centre can also draw customers to product or plants that aren't moving and create new interest. What's are some great signage ideas you've used in the past?
