ITA St. Hyacinthe – Les Exceptionelles
“Les Exceptionelles” is the only floral promotion program in North America based on public preference. Plant trials headed by Claude Vallée, of the ITA in St. Hyacinthe, with the co-operation of the Quebec growers, listed the top 10 best suited plants for Quebec growing conditions based on public choice for colour, beauty and low maintenance.

Adopt an Artificial tree?
These artificial trees have nothing to do with the floral industry variety as we know them. According to Discovery Channel’s Daily Planet, scientists are producing a machine that will look like a filled in football field goal end, which will filter out the CO2 from the air, much like a tree does. One artificial tree will have the filtering capacity of 150 trees.
